iAM DISPLAY GYMNASTICS
WHAT IS DISPLAY GYMNASTICS?
AUDITION PROCESS ONLY.
Our performance teams offer up a variety of events and competitions which are suitable for all genders, age groups and abilities to help showcase the performer in you! Group displays will make use of props, costumes and visual effects to enhance the routine.
One of the many events our display team take part in is GymFusion. GymFusion is British Gymnastics national Festivals programme and offers the opportunity for teams of gymnasts to perform in a show style, non-competitive event, where the emphasis is on fun and friendship. It offers a fantastic experience for both gymnasts and spectators alike, by capturing the ethos of Gymnastics for All; the bringing together gymnasts of all ages, genders and abilities, to enjoy the diverse range of physical activities offered by the sport.
We would also like to provide our performance teams with opportunities for international representation. Every four years the World Gymnaestrada sees in excess of 20,000 'Gymnastics for All' enthusiasts globally, coming together to perform routines of national and cultural significance in front of adorning fans from all corners of the globe. With age and ability no barriers to participation, the World Gymnaestrada epitomises the philosophy of Gymnastics for All (Performance Teams).
Our performance teams will be given 2 routines each year, providing lots of performance opportunities for our members. Our Performance Teams aren’t only for gymnastics based events, but dance ones too. We also offer opportunities for our Performance members to participate in team dance events, which shed some light into the dance industry and what to expect.
We are proud of the progress and development that our Teams have achieved over the last few years. They are given many opportunities to travel around the UK & Internationally and now have a collection of medals & trophies!
For members in these classes, it is compulsory to have a full Performance Team Kit.
All members must sign up & pay membership fees to participate in an iAM class.
